Teeming Tuesday…

Indeed.

Teeming with idiot drivers. Broken robots. What is it with the local government that they can’t fix robots timeously? And for heavens sake!! If you KNOW copper cables are being stolen faster than you can replace them, think of another effing way people!!! I’m sure there has to be ways for traffic lights to work without the need for electricity? Fibre optics, or wireless or something. But don’t let them be broken for weeks on end.

One thing all these broken robots are good for – when Armageddon does hit at least in SA we’ll not be too worried about living in an Post-Apocalyptic world. We’re already half-way in one!

Got myself Nutella last night for my work sandwiches. Have to taste it to see if it’s still as good as I remember, therefore, time for a cuppa and a sandwich!

Hope your day is a good one 🙂

Heart Disease
————————-

In Japan, the fat intake in the average Japanese diet is
very low and the heart disease ratio is lower than in North
America and the UK.

However, in France, the average fat intake is very high,
and yet, the heart disease ratio is lower than in North
America and the UK.

In India almost no one drinks red wine and the heart disease
ratio is lower than in North America and the UK.

In Spain, everybody drinks too much red wine and the heart
disease ratio is lower than in North America and the UK.

In Algeria, the average sexual activity ratio is very high and
the heart disease ratio is lower than in North America and the UK.

In Brazil, everybody has sex like crazy and the heart
disease ratio is lower than in North America and the UK.

In Austria, adults smoke 2 packs of cigarettes per day,
on average.

Conclusion: Drink, eat, smoke and screw all you want.
It’s speaking English that kills you.

  1. Fixing robots would mean that money would have to be outlaid (taxpayers money). So, either the officials have pocketed the money and there is no money to do the repairs, or, they have the money and can’t bear to part with it because it would mean less money finding its way to their back pockets.

I see a lot of robots are being operated on solar power these days. Most visible on William Nicol in Bryanston.

    • The operating word being Bryanston.
Where I travel, through the informal settlement of Olievenhoutbosch, not so much!
Every day I get more and more sick and tired of the way everything is going down the tubes. And I can’t do anything about it.

      • Even more frustrating is government still blames their own ineptitude on whites. Nothing gets my blood boiling more than the pot calling the kettle black!

      • They are reaping what they sowed.
I’m the enemy? Cool. Means I don’t have to do any of the many things I used to do before. Without even feeling bad about it.

  2. We’ve had this robot on Jan Smuts that’s been out forever and it causes such a backlog! I’ve started driving through the suburbs to find some sort of a back route but no luck so far, the roads are just as busy.
Hope the Nutella was good 🙂

  3. Nutella is my weakness! Whenever I make pies I make sure to make some mini ones filled with nutella which is delicious after they’ve come out of the oven!

    • Well, Ric, that’s a must share recipe I think!!
Not that I make pies of any kind, but for chocolate pies I might make an exception!!
