Hump day.

That would be today.

Wednesday.

The day after Tuesday. And the day before Thursday.

Such eloquence!!!

I’m stunned!

Enough of that though.

Yesterday’s interview went well. At least, I think so. The only one that smiled was the HR manager. The Fm and the chick from HO seemed somewhat morose. Don’t know why – might be their natures, might be that they disliked me on sight…

Even so. I gave it my all. Smelled nice, looked good, felt good. My friend at head office HR got the Regional HR manager and some other chick to put in a good word for me with the FM. The FM I used to work for also put in a good word for me πŸ˜‰ Seems I come highly recommended! Now I must just hope that all the good words and my track record speaks for me better than I maybe can.

Out of my hands now.

Thanks for all the good wishes and thoughts that went with me yesterday – I’ll be sure to let you know if it paid off or not πŸ˜‰

Here’s a joke to start the day with. and a tune to lift your heart…

Half-Fare Special
————————-

One of the airlines recently introduced a special half-fare rate for wives accompanying their husbands on business trips.

Anticipating some valuable testimonials, the publicity department of the airline sent out letters to all the wives of businessmen who used the special rates, asking how they enjoyed their trip.

Responses are still pouring in asking, “What trip?”

I just love KD Lang!!

  1. So glad the interview went well. I wouldn’t worry about the morose people. They probably always look like that. πŸ™‚ Thanks for the smiles. Good luck with the job; you deserve a break for sure. xx
