Time for some mirth.
I’ve steadily been going down a dark path, and that’s never a good thing.
Did learn something new over the weekend – I can now make a macrame knot. As in making bracelets. Might try my hand at that even. It’s relatively easy, and looks quite cool what with the charms and all.
Kid started his training for the new job today. Don’t quite know when it’s going to happen, and if the person he’s replacing knows about it, but hey. I don’t have to live with that conscience – that’s up to the bossman and the kid. Just hope it works out for everybody concerned.
Went through my camera’s photos last night. Don’t think I’ve downloaded all of them yet, but there were some pics on there of the cats when they were still small – such cute little things 😉 All bright eyes and playfullness. Now, the white one lies on my bed all day and the black one gives the neighbourhood hell!! Only until I de-ball him. Then he will probably also lie on the bed all day 😉
Time to find a job.
Here’s a bit of a joke to put some laughter in this Monday…
A man was driving down a quiet country lane when out into the road
strayed a rooster. Whack! The rooster disappeared under the car in a
cloud of feathers.
Shaken, the man pulled over at the farmhouse and rang the doorbell. A
farmer appeared. The man somewhat nervously said, “I think I killed
your rooster, please allow me to replace him.”
“Suit yourself,” the farmer replied, “the hens are round the back.”
