Mr Marc Almond, one time lead singer of the 80’s band Soft Cell, has ever been one of my favourite artists.
Both his career with Soft Cell as well as his solo career – I’ve always enjoyed his music.
And, on my searchings for his albums, I’ve come across a few French artists that I would never have known of, had it not been for him.
This particular song, from the album, Enchanted, is quite a rousing tune.
As is the case with the rest of the songs.
I actually owned this one in LP form, and then got it in CD a while back.
Goes to show how ancient I am getting – talking of LP’s and such.

When I got hold of this on youtube, I heard the recording was done from a record – brought back good memories 😉
Strangely, not many people listen to his stuff, even if Soft Cell was so huge in their heyday!
