Hope you all had a good evening?
Tonight is the big night.
In more ways than one.
Firstly, have my psychic reading/painting thing this afternoon.
Have absolutely no idea what to expect from that.
Might be good, might be bad – only time and experience will tell.
At least I can say that I have done it.
Then I have to get home snappily and start dressing for Phantom.
The talk lately has shown me that this guy is much more into me, than I am into him.
And that will influence my outfit tonight – don’t want to give him any more reasons to have wondering hands.
And I had high hopes with this one.
Seems I can just not get it right.
Regardless of tactics or the best intentions ever – I end up with something that’s not quite the right fit, but not bad enough of a person to cut off at the quick.
Maybe we should not have gone out on Sunday – then the whole situation might not have been spoiled tonight.
I’ll go, see what he’s like tonight, enjoy Phantom – got my bino’s ready C 😉 – and maybe see him again.
Actually feel bad that he’s spent all that money on the show and I might not see him again after this!
Talk about a conundrum!
Luckily he’s visiting his kids in Newcastle from Thursday so I won’t have to worry about anything until he gets back.
To top it all, I’m having lunch on Sunday with yet another dude.
This one will never be anything but a friend, so best I let him know that right from the start.
Almost 60 years old – I’m sorry, no can do.
Friends, no problem. More than that? Don’t think so.
Put it like this – at least they take my mind off my real problems!!
Got all my paperwork sorted out yesterday.
Printed the forms I’ll need for Unemployment benefits, made copies of my CV, got everything ready.
Can’t remember when last I was quite this pro-active in anything!
Feels kind of good 😉
Let’s continue the rest of today – hope it’s a good one!!
Custody of the Children
A man and his young wife were in divorce court, but the custody of their children posed a problem.
The mother leaped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them.
The man also wanted custody of his children, so the judge asked for his justification.
After a long silence, the man slowly rose from his chair and replied…
“Your Honor, when I put a dollar in a vending machine and a Coke comes out, does the Coke belong to me or the machine?”
