Thursday's titter…

Got woken up this morning by a telephone call.

From Jackson, MS – suppose it’s somewhere in America, although I have no idea why somebody would phone me from there.

And also not why they would do this at 5:22 in the morning, after I only fell asleep at 2:30.

Made myself a cup of very strong coffee in my one-cup french press…

Today’s gonna be a LOOOONG day!

Been a while since I’ve been up at that time of day – it’s still dark then.

And there’s a decided nip in the air – ‘twould seem winter’s not too far off.

As I sit here, next to the window in my study, the sun’s rays are hitting the tree just so – making it all golden yellow as only the morning sun can do.

There I was yesterday, looking through FB – see what everybody’s got up and running.

Buddy of mine posted the same pic Sam had on her blog yesterday.

Something about this pic has just grabbed me.

Sure the young man is very well built.

The tattoos are absolutely gorgeous – little pathways, if you catch my drift.

The nipple rings, well yes.

So much so that he’s now on my desktop on my pc and on my lovely phone.

But he’s not some unattainable dream – even though it would be seriously cool to be seen with a guy like that, I’m sure the stereotype would ring true in many instances, so probably not somebody you can spend time with in any meaningful way.

No, that’s not why he’s gracing my electronics.

The photo itself grabbed my attention.

Just something about black and white photography that makes you see the details, the clear lines, the shapes – and not only the colour.

Not being overwhelmed by the brightness, but drawing your attention to the shadows, the unseen.

Oh well.

He’s pretty.

And that’s never been a bad thing πŸ˜‰

Watched Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino last night.

Can’t say it was his best movie ever, cinematographically, but it was a good movie nonetheless.

He’s always such a meany, with a golden heart πŸ˜‰

And then.

The coup de grace.

It would seem that I have an actual date next week Wednesday.

Dinner and a show.

Going to see Phantom at Monte πŸ˜‰

How’s that for good news!!

Of course I’ll have to rush the tittivating – have my phsychic reading that afternoon as well, and that would probably last until 5pm.

Then rush home to get dressed up and made up and perfumed up, all the way back to Monte in time for supper at 18:30, with the show starting at 20:00.

So maybe, just maybe it will be a good date!

Of course, Ihave no idea what to wear!!

And so, onwards to the day breaking.

A blonde one this morning – sorry girls!

But it was funny πŸ˜‰

A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night. It was her turn.
She rolled the dice and she landed on Science & Nature. Her
question was: “If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name,
can you  hear it?”

She thought for a time and then asked, “Is it on or off?”
