And here we are again.
There’s a slight nip in the air – nothing serious, just lovely crisp and fresh.
Harbinger of winter sure, but also a chance to wear my jerseys and boots and thick socks and leather jacket 😉
Yesterday, at the concert, they had this little 11 year old and a 7 year old that sang a few songs.
Could not believe the sounds that came out of those 2 mouths.
I had to wonder though, what kind of life those kids lead?
Do they get time to play and be kids?
Or are their days filled with singing and more singing and voice exercises and comportment lessons.
The 11 year old’s diction was lovely.
None of these shortened vowels and swinging up and down between notes.
Clear and concise, every word clearly punctuated – as it should be.
Mowed the lawn on Saturday.
Was quite proud of myself – only took me an hour 😉
With rests inbetween of course!
I’m hoping it will get better as time goes by.
I’ll become a bit fitter, and more able to do all the things that needs doing in a garden.
Get to know the ins and outs of my garden again, see where things needs to be done, plants to be pruned or removed – such a lot of things happening!
