Wednesday's whack…

And here we are again.

Humpday!

At least a bit of good news.

The youngest got the job that he interviewed for yesterday.

Maybe this time he’ll try his utmost, because he can’t feel coerced anymore.

Still, I can’t help but think of all the other people that also applied for that job.

Probably all young kids, trying to make a start in life.

And now they will still have to look, and dress up and get all nervous and worried…

I had a slight predicament last night.

Could not find my CV – because I deleted all my documents a while ago.

So, I went to all my sent items and managed to find a CV sent out more than 2 years ago!!

So I had to update the last 2 years of my life on there.

At least now it’s done and I can upload it to Pnet and Career junction.

Because I’m job hunting now in earnest.

Have to find something I can do for the rest of my life – can’t be doing the jobhopping thing anymore!

Way to old for that kind of stresses!!

Mom had her chemo yesterday.

Was supposed to have it last week, but her kidneys are not too strong, so she had to take tablets to sort that out first, before they could give the chemo.

She seems much better these days after the quack adjusted the dosage.

I’m going to have to Google the use of herbal remedies while on chemo.

Don’t know if the homeopathic things will negate the conventional stuff, but I’m inclined to think that that’s not the case.

as long as you don’t use the natural stuff in lieu of the chemical stuff, I doubt that there will be a problem.

She’s of course scared to use homeopathic things.

One can not dare go against the DOCTOR, now can one!!!

Just now he gets cross and refuses to treat one!!

I’ve known it to happen.

Silly people.

It’s not much to do with your sentimentalities – only ever about the good of the patient!

And if the patient wants to use a bit of green stuff every so often, why not let them – might be all in the mind in any case…

Had yet another Capetown by the Berg car last night on the way home.

From CY this time.

Drove a Lexus, but apparently he has no idea what to do if he can’t see the mountain on one side and the ocean on the other.

Because driving was not high on his agenda.

Of course, the irritation could just possibly be hormonal – I am, after all, a woman, and are sometimes ruled by these secretions!

Anyhow.

Suppose it’s time to start the day.

Hope you’ll have a good one, all things considered…

Lawyer on Vacation
————————-

A lawyer was on vacation in a small farming town. While walking through the streets on a quiet Sunday morning, he came upon a large crowd gathered by the side of the road.

Going by instinct, the lawyer figured that there was some sort of auto collision. He was eager to get to the injured parties but couldn’t get near the car. Being a clever sort, he started shouting loudly, “Let me through! Let me through! I am the son of the victim.”

The crowd made way for him. Lying in front of the car was a donkey.
